Your creative files stay on your Mac.

versionLoom is designed to work locally and offline. The app does not require an account and does not upload your monitored project files, saved versions, previews, notes, or labels to versionLoom servers.

Data stored by the app

versionLoom stores its local database, previews, and deduplicated version data in its application storage on your Mac. You can review storage usage and retention controls inside the app.

Website and downloads

This website is hosted by GitHub Pages. Downloads and issue reports are provided through GitHub and are subject to GitHub’s own privacy practices.

Future online services

If optional cloud features are introduced later, they will be clearly disclosed and will not silently change the local-first behavior described here.
